The Fountains at Farah

The Fountains at Farah is an innovative outdoor shopping mall with a modern approach to outdoor shopping. It boasts stores and restaurants, numerous cascading water displays, and a small event stage.

Western Refining founder Paul Foster owns the center, which opened in 2012. It is expected to receive millions of dollars in city and county sales tax rebates.

The Fountains at Farah, a new shopping center in El Paso’s center city, features two levels of boutiques featuring name-brand merchandise and on-trend and mid-range department stores. Plus, there are plenty of entertainment venues, patio dining options, and covered parking to enjoy.

Farah LLC, the center’s owner, is in litigation with El Paso Central Appraisal District over its valuation. According to the district, the evidence submitted by Farah LLC supporting a lower assessment violates state law.

Fountains at Farah offers more than just shopping. In the wintertime, it features an ice skating rink and children’s splash pad on its Promenade level. Plus, it provides free EV charging stations for electric vehicles.

The outlet mall in El Paso is a great destination for shoppers from El Paso and Las Cruces areas alike, but unfortunately lacks some of the top brand retailers that locals expect.

Cielo Vista Mall

Cielo Vista Mall is one of El Paso’s largest shopping centers, owned and operated by Simon Property Group.

On the east side of town, at Interstate 10 and Hawkins Blvd., this center features five anchor stores under four brands and 134 specialty shops.

The mall also houses a Cinemark theater, screening top new releases every week. It makes an ideal destination for shopping trips and has plenty of restaurants in the food court area.
