Three Bristol, Tenn., dealerships owned by longtime seller Invoice Gatton have bought to totally different consumers.

On Jan. 31, Umansky Automotive Group, of Memphis, Tenn., purchased Invoice Gatton Honda and renamed it Bristol Honda, stated the group’s proprietor, Dan Umansky. It marks the retailer’s first dealership within the metropolis, he stated.

“That is a Tennessee market we have been trying to get into,” Dan Umansky informed Automotive Information. “This makes our fifth Honda retailer.”

Umansky stated his group has dealerships throughout California, Wisconsin, Virginia, Mississippi and Tennessee. In June, the group bought five dealerships in California.

Dutch Miller Auto Group, of Huntington, W.Va., on Jan. 31 acquired Invoice Gatton Nissan, group CFO Brad Blake confirmed. The dealership is now known as Dutch Miller Nissan of Bristol.

It is also the primary retailer within the space for Dutch Miller, which along with dealerships in West Virginia has a presence in Charlotte, N.C., according to its website.

Gatton additionally bought his Invoice Gatton Chevrolet dealership, to seller Steve Harrell II, stated dealership gross sales supervisor Tim Cox. The transaction, which closed Feb. 4, did not embrace Gatton’s Cadillac franchise. The dealership was renamed Bristol Chevrolet.

Harrell additionally owns Johnson Metropolis Nissan and Oak Ridge Nissan, each in Tennessee, and City Heart Nissan in Kennesaw, Ga., Cox stated.

The Bristol Herald Courier newspaper reported on the dealership sales Feb. 5.
